indexing problem outside localhost

  • I've a problem with indexing outside localhost!
    Installation-->ok
    DB connection--> ok
    testing on localhost ->indexing ok


    but: (problem with apache..on iis same config- same script-->all ok!!)

    If i try to index a different address, the spider add them to the host's table but it don't add no page no index no keyword!
    I've red all posts and i changed my config file but i think the problem could be the configuration of apache where i am workin' ..it's possible that the phpdig scripts don't have the right permission to exit from localhost???

  • Hi, onlytrue, and welcome to the phpDig.net forum!

    I believe your web host may not allow remote server login. Have you checked with them to confirm whether or not you can do that?


  • I can index address by ip number (virtual hosts too), but I've now problem only with address by name (nameofvirtualhost.host.org)!!!
